For nearly 10 years, CEA-LETI has been working, within the framework of the joint laboratory with the SME MicroOLED (45 employees, €10M turnover), a spin-off from CEA-LETI in 2007, on OLED technology for miniature screens (microdisplays). The application here concerns electronic viewfinders in high-end or professional cameras as well as informative glasses such as Google Glass (augmented reality, virtual reality, etc.).
The webinar organized in the framework of the Light Cluster will provide an overview of the technology used in various applications, lighting and display, as a photon generator. At the end of the webinar, a brief parallel will be made with GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology used today as a light source in lighting technologies and envisaged as the second generation of semiconductors for the realization of future display technologies requiring very high light power levels (not achievable by OLED).
At the end of the 45-minute presentations, you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
In order to facilitate the webinar, please send any questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that this webinar is free for members of the Lighting Cluster and paying 80€ including tax for external people (the webinar is then available in replay, no refund will be possible).
